Day 1: Flight to Kilimanjaro – Moshi                                                                                        

Welcome to Kilimanjaro, TANZANIA. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll meet and greet by one of our staff, who will pick you up and transfer by car/minibus to the city of Moshi on the base of the magnificent Kilimanjaro Mountain. The drive from the airport is in places scenic if you consider that the highest peak of Africa is on your left side accompanying you for most of the journey to Moshi. Upon arrival in the city, proceed for accommodation and dinner. Overnight at MOSHI HOTEL in Moshi.  Dinner included

Day 2. Fully Day at Kilimanjaro Center                                                   

In the morning you will enjoy breakfast at your hotel then later in the afternoon you will be picking up with our driver and take you to our orphanage Centre where you will spend your full day with the staff and kids and have lunch with them after that you will have time to play with the kids in our Centre. Then in the late evening, you will be drop off to the place of your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Overnight at MOSHI HOTEL in Moshi. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included

Day 3: Historical Sites Visit                                                                                                                                                                          

You will have your fascinating breakfast in the morning at your hotel then go to some places around Moshi with our driver and do some shopping in town or take a day trip around Moshi Area. This full-day tour will take you through the beautiful countryside surrounding Mount Kilimanjaro filled with banana and coffee farms. Here you will be able to learn more about farming practices, and the local life of the Chagga people and the chiefdom system. You will also be able to explore historical sites and learn more about the rich history of Old Moshi as your guide tells you stories dating back to before German colonization. The tree where Mangi (Chief) Meli was hanged by the Germans in 1900, the palace of the chief, German military base from the 1890’s and cemetery and old slave market ruins.

After visiting the historical sites, you can sit down and enjoy local banana beer, and choose to visit a local school or dispensary. In the afternoon you will enjoy a delicious local lunch made by mamas in the village, followed by a scenic hike to Mambori waterfalls. Along the way to the waterfall, your guide will tell you the story of how Mambori waterfalls received its name and explain the medicinal uses for a variety of naturally growing plants along the route. Day 4: Moshi – Lake Manyara National Park                           

Start your day very early with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, early morning (around 6 am), together with your Safari guide and our representative, proceed in a lifetime adventure towards Lake Manyara National Park. On your way to Lake Manyara National Park, we will stop for a short refreshing and shopping break (usually no more than 1 hour) in Arusha City, one of the largest cities in Tanzania. From Moshi towards Arusha, on a clear day, you could see on your right-side Kilimanjaro Mountain in its splendor. While you are in Arusha area, again on a clear day, you could see its brother the well-known Mount Meru, the second highest peak in Tanzania. Don’t forget to enjoy the views in Arusha City and to better understand how the locals get along with their daily lives. The park with its shallow alkaline lake is known for its over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests (look out for the long-tailed Guenon monkeys) and grassy plains. A large area of the park is covered by the alkaline Lake Manyara which is home to colonies of flamingos and other water birds. Apart from elephants, you might also spot giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas while the forests near the lake are teeming with noisy groups of monkeys and baboons. Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions (rare) can be also seen here if you are lucky. From the pop-up roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to absorb the sights and sounds of nature. Lunch will be boxed and served either before your safari or during your game drive at a picnic site. In the late afternoon, we will leave Lake Manyara National Park to get you to your chosen accommodation. Accommodation and dinner will be provided at your choice between Fanaka Lodge or Migunga Tented Camp. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included

Day 5: Manyara – Arusha National Parks                                             

Start your day very early and proceed around 5 am together with your Safari guide, on the second day of adventure towards Arusha National Park. Due to the early hours of departure, you will have a boxed breakfast. Today you have the option to participate in another type of experience in Arusha National Park. It can be a once in a lifetime chance for a couple of hours walking safari with one of the park’s rangers to see Arusha National Park’s fauna close by. For the walking safari, you will be accompanied by an armed ranger, who will guide you through the forest up to the waterfall and the point for viewing the black and white colobus monkeys. This will be followed by a boxed lunch and a few hours game drive. During the game drive, you will see the 7 Lakes of Momella and the Ngurduto Crater. At the appropriate time, we will drive you to Arusha airport for your flight to Go back home. Breakfast, Lunch
